"We Are DJs Against Climate Change"
Last year we banded together to offset 150 Tons of CO2, equivalent to more than one million miles of air travel.
DJs Against Climate Change is entering its 6th year of helping our community offset the environmentally damaging carbon dioxide emissions produced from airplane travel. With the rise in popularity of Electronic Dance Music, more artists than ever are traversing the globe in order to play for live audiences. These flights contribute millions of tons of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere, but are unavoidable in order for DJs to perform. As participants in DJACC, we recognize this negative aspect in our line of work and use our cultural influence to show how everyone can take responsibility for their impact on Climate Change.

Because of all their air travel, many touring DJs have greater than average personal CO2 emissions, a greenhouse gas responsible for Climate Change.

We believe in the change individuals can make when they band together towards a common goal. If we address this issue as a group we can make a difference

Contribute towards Typhoon Haiyan Relief & Recovery
During the month of December, we are raising money for the Citizens' Disaster Response Center (CDRC), an NGO based in the Philippines working to provide food, water, shelter and rebuilding materials to those affected by Super-Typhoon Haiyan. Climate Change is almost certainly a factor in the severity of this storm, and we should help. Organized in 1984, CDRC focuses its assistance to the most affected, least served and most vulnerable sectors of the Filipino population through preparedness and mitigation, emergency relief, and rehabilitation programs.
